The Circulating System
Is another of the major components of the rig. Its primary function is to support the rotating system in drilling the well by providing the appropriate equipment, materials and working areas needed to prepare, maintain and revise the “lifeblood” of drilling operation – the drilling fluid or mud.
● Mud Pump parts
The heart of the circulating system. Its primary function is to move large volumes of drilling fluid under high pressure.
Scope of Supply: Valve, Guide plate, Piston, Liner (Ceramic / Bimetal), Pressure gauge, Bearing, SPM sensor, Parts of Crosshead, Parts of Fluid end …
● Solid Control System parts
The system includes specialized equipment used to “clean up” the drilling fluid after it has been brought up from the well bore. The specialized equipment includes: 1) the shale shaker, 2) the degasser, 3) the desander, 4) the desilter, 5) the sand pumps, and 6) the mud tanks. The primary function of this system is to remove unwanted cuttings and any entrained gases that might have entered the drilling fluid.
Scope of Supply: Sand pump, Agitator, Auger, Bottom valve, Butterfly valve, High / Low pressure hose …
DEMCO valves, Gates and Contitech mud hoses are available on request.
