The Rotating System

Is one of the major components of the rig. Its primary function is to rotate the drill stem and provide weights to the bit to drill the hole.

● Rotary Table and Transmission System parts

An extremely rugged and powerful rotating device that is placed into the rig floor directly under the crown block and directly over the hole. The rotary table contains a turntable assembly that, when used with selected accessories (the master bushings), transmits torque (turning or rotating movement) to the drill stem. When used with other selected accessories (the rotary slips), it can suspend the drill stem during drilling operations (such as a “trip”).

● Manual tong

Manual Tongs are necessary tools applied to make up and break out pipes. Changing lug jaws and latch steps can adjust different handling sizes of the tongs. They are inspected and torque tested to API 7K.

● Top Drive & Swivel parts

A uniquely shaped tool that is hung from the hook block, attached to IBOP or Kelly valve and sustain the entire weight of the drill stem while rotating. Top Drive System has become the most widely used drill stem driving device in a rig.
